The Club SFO: Not quite a Sapphire Reserve Lounge but an Elevated Experience
Bar area at The Club SFO
Flying back from a work trip in San Francisco I had a few early morning calls I needed to take before flying back home. That meant I needed to get to a lounge at SFO by around 6 am.
Fortunately, the Club SFO had recently opened.
Since I arrived early, I did not have a wait like others have reported.
The Club was spacious, though loud. With one main dining and buffet area and the other a bar area. The lounge is one floor up from the terminal and there are a few windows in the Bar area.
Knowing I had an important call to take, I was able to book a “Wellness Room”. While I am sure using this room for calls was not how The Club intended, it got the job done.
The room comes with spa like music, different settings and lighting options that you can customize on a touchpad in the room. It was a relaxing space and I would have much preferred to use it for its intended purpose versus a few hours of calls.
I didn’t partake at the bar, but I did enjoy some good breakfast items. Like the fancier Sapphire Reserve lounges, this as an elevated buffet compared to others standard lounges in the Priority Pass portfolio.
Take a look for yourself at the lounge.
